Our Story

Longstep Property Solutions (LPS) was founded by Randy McGill, Amanda Rathbone, and Andrew Glisson, three long-time Memphis real estate investors who spent years building and managing their own portfolio of short-term and long-term rental properties across the city.

When fellow investors started asking, "Do you know a good property manager?" the answer kept coming back the same: not really. So in 2024, we decided to become the property managers we wished we'd had, and LPS was born.

What started as a short-term rental management company quickly grew. Today, we're the largest locally owned short-term rental property manager in Memphis. In January 2026, we expanded into long-term property management, and that side of the business has grown significantly as well.

We're fully vertically integrated. Our in-house cleaning team, laundry operations, and dedicated maintenance crew mean we control the quality at every step: no outsourcing, no excuses. We even support other property management companies across Memphis with their cleaning and maintenance needs.

Our philosophy is simple: provide an exceptional level of service at the lowest possible cost so our owners keep more of what they earn. While most competitors charge 15% or more for short-term rental management, we charge just 10%. For long-term management, our rate is 8%, competitive with the market, but with service that goes well beyond it.
